A Letter from the PartnersJason Webb, Jeremy Sorzano, and Justin Bredeman met as soccer teammates at Messiah College 15 years ago. They went on to play soccer professionally, kept in touch, and often brainstormed ways to parlay their love for the game and coaching into a business. It was from this entrepreneurial spirit that Soccer Shots was born. Together Jason, Jeremy, and Justin shaped a curriculum that was unique, creative, and focused on the developmental needs of young children. Jeremy started the Soccer Shots program in Charlotte, North Carolina, while Jason and Justin opened side-by-side operations in south central Pennsylvania. They offered soccer classes to preschools, daycare centers, and after-school programs. It was a niche market of classes for children ages 3 to 8 that introduces them to the world’s greatest game: soccer! It became clear that Soccer Shots was not only a fun and meaningful program for children, but it was a lucrative business. The idea caught on among some fellow soccer friends and offering franchise opportunities was the logical next step. In 2005, the franchise company was started and it’s been growing rapidly ever since. Today the company boasts 15,000 participants per season, well over 80 territories, and national recognition as a top franchise opportunity as well as a top low-cost franchise by Entrepreneur magazine, 2 years in a row.
